Case Study > Wood Floor Sanding, Edgware. Posted in Projects
Renue UK have carried out a Wood Floor Restoration project at NLCS.
Renue UK was called in for this Wood Floor Restoration at North London Collegiate School in Edgware. The drummond library room in the mansion house at NLCS had been sanded very poorly over 40 years ago and as a result was incredibly uneven! In addition to this, the floor had been coated in several layers of dark and dirty seal over the years. This floor which is over 100 years old desperately needed a wood floor restoration to restore the appearance and protect the surface, so our wood floor restoration experts decided that the best approach was a professional wood floor sanding treatment.
Wood Floor Sanding – Project Objectives
To ensure the highest quality of wood floor restoration for NLCS drummond room, we needed to strip things back to basics and start over.
The library is in daily use, so we arranged a convenient time to carry out the restoration, with the objective of restoring the appearance of the parquet floor and to ensure it’s safe and fit-for-purpose.
